Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 17, 2025

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how data is handled when you use the QuickBooks Data Exporter tool (“the Software”).

Data Access & Purpose

The Software connects to QuickBooks using OAuth for the sole purpose of accessing and exporting financial data you authorize. No other data is accessed or stored.

Token Storage

Your QuickBooks access tokens are stored locally on your device or server (e.g., in a SQLite database) and are not transmitted or shared with third parties.

No Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to third-party services. All data remains under your control.

Logging

Basic usage logs may be generated for performance diagnostics, but these logs do not include sensitive financial data.

Security

The Software follows secure OAuth 2.0 practices and uses HTTPS when communicating with QuickBooks APIs.

User Responsibility

As an end-user, you are responsible for keeping your environment secure and ensuring exported data is stored appropriately.
