I'm a neurodivergent country boy from Wagga Wagga, who likes to live life like my blood type and B Positive.

Despite his love of rugby, he conceded that he'd never play for the Wallabies, instead falling into the rabbit hole of accountancy, commencing a cadetship with a small insolvency practice in April 2011. Given my love for problem solving, I develop a keen interest in the investigatory and forensic side of insolvency accounting. In October 2014, my heart took me to Sydney, where I quickly rose up the ranks in several firms since then.

As insolvency appointment had slowed down during the pandemic, I took the opportunity to branch out to develop different skills, which lead me to a Forensic Accounting role with Sedgwick in April 2022. During this time, I worked on several numerous business interruption, fraud and indemnity insurance claims, building my analytical and forensic skills further. This was also helped with the Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting, honing my accounting skills further, particularly by completing the Data Analytics and Financial Modelling elective modules.

But the challenge of an insolvency appointment become something I missed and, n September 2023, I joined the team at Jirsch Sutherland. My time hear has lead me to quickly rising to become a Manager, working on various challenging and complex appointments, including VA trade-on appointments of Liquor Loot Group and Southern Cross Produce Group, among others.

When I'm not managing an insolvency appointment, I like to bring new meaning to the term "Creative Accountant", reading books, writing fiction, playing golf or working on my latest passion project, while blasting heavy metal.
